Concrete Steps to Further Expanding the International Collaborations

The Rector of HEI “Hëna e Plotë” Bedër had a working visit in two prestigious universities in Belgium that currently are amongst top 100 universities in the world , “Ku Leuvren” and “Vrije Universiteit”.

This visit was held due to the policy of international profiling that Bedër pursues both in collegiate level and the inter-institutional collaboration one as well.

The opportunities of cooperation in the field of scientific research, student or teaching staff exchange, organizing joint conferences or various academic activities etc., were amongst the topics being discussed between Prof. Dr. Gjana and the rectors of aforementioned universities, Prof. Rik Torfs and Prof. Dr. Paul De Knop.

“Ku Leuven” University being founded in 1425 is one of the eldest and the bests in Europe and the largest university in Belgium as well. This university provides a range of internationalized master programs. http://www.kuleuven.be/english/

"Vrije University" is a dynamic and modern university that has two campuses in the capital of Belgium, Brussels. This institution provides a qualitative education to more than 9000 students from around the globe. This visit will be the first of other successive visits between the heads of the institutions aiming to make more concrete the agreements of joint interests in the abovementioned aspects.
