“Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University organized for the second consecutive year the event "International Day 2014''. Student's Deanery, in collaboration with students clubs, formed a multicultural atmosphere in the university environment.
The purpose of this activity is the recognition and promotion of cultural diversity, understanding the culture, tradition and history of different countries of the world. Albanian and foreign students studying at “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University, with their dedication prepared promotional boards, displaying a part of the culture of different countries.
Rector of “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University, Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, in his welcoming speech congratulated students for organizing this international day. He stressed the importance that Bedër University gives to the cultural diversity and the consolidatition of an international profile.
The event was organized in numerous exhibition stands, where different groups of students promoted souvenirs, traditional costumes, national symbols, foods and other elements of the traditions of the country they represented.
The event was attended by representatives of various embassies in our country, like Greece, France, Romania, who were impressed by the engagement of students in promoting the culture of so many countries.
